It was better than a pretty good year.
Went to New York to see my friend Ann and cousin Grayson. Loved Coney Island.
Crafted with friends. In a friendly sweatshop sort of way.
Made dresses for five friends' baby girls. I hope they grow slowly.
Did a produce share for the first time. Ate more veggies.
Took Mike to STL for a college reunion.
Camped/cabined/canoed.
Fed this kid ice cream.
Bucktown garden walked.
Melted through the summer with Miko's.
Pitchforked.
Met the world's fanciest one-eyed dog.
Watched the Cubbies with these guys.
Sang karaoke. Mike just listened.
Went back to Cali to celebrate our anniversary.
Ate way too much Coalfire pizza. Wait, no I didn't. It was just the right amount.
Stayed in the same West Town apartment for the 3rd year--a personal record of renting longevity.
Ate romanesco for the first time. Do it, yum.
Went back to St. Louis to see Neko Case with my friend Ann.
Got a new job!
Visited my bestie and her family in Iowa during pumpkin picking season.
Did some more sewing.
Made gingerbread boys, a Christmas tradition of Mike's Mom, who passed the torch.
Got the worst sinus infection/cold I've had in recent memory and had to take steroids to get rid of it. Do not recommend.
Went to a real NYE party in the snow with this guy and played flip cup. Like classy people do.
Braved the polar vortex. Every. Day.
Made curtains for my mother-in-law. Learned about repeats.
Went to Maui with these lovers.
Thanks, 31. You were good to me.
